Nancy and I enjoyed a trip to the Eastern Sierra mountain range in late August and since we knew we’d be taking a lot of landscape pictures we decided to rent the Canon 8-15 4.0L fisheye zoom lens. It took some getting used to but we both ended up getting some nice images from it. Depending on the angle you shoot you could get the horizon fairly flat or bending up or down so watch your composition. Lens is pretty sharp but has some CA that is noticeable but correctable via Lightroom. It’s the first SLR lens I’ve used that exhibited so much CA in fact.
